Who we are

Families at the heart of our mission.

Our history, purpose, and commitment to stronger communities.

Our mission

Restoring hope. Building capacity. Strengthening community.

Joshua Treasures Family Collaborative acts as a catalyst for partnerships among residents, agencies, and institutions. Together, we create healthy environments and help reduce the conditions that lead to child abuse and neglect.

Our work supports the social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and economic growth of children, youth, and families—helping them build stability, independence, and healthy relationships.

Our story

From a summer safe haven to a growing network of care

JTFC began with a goal to create a safe haven for children ages 3–13 during the summer months. The organization grew to address educational challenges, truancy, teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, and family instability through mentoring and academic support.

Under the Joshua Treasures umbrella, JTFC has also managed transitional homes for families experiencing homelessness and collaborated with the Department of Employment Services to support the Summer Youth Employment Program.
